Process

Four weeks from invisible to listed

Every setup runs the same way, whether you have one shopfront or twelve. You always know which week you are in and what lands at the end of it.

First movement4–8 weeks
Week 1

Audit and access

We run a grid scan around your address to see where you appear and where you disappear, pull the current profile and listings, and take manager access to whatever exists.

  • Grid scan of the trading area
  • Profile and listing inventory
  • Competitor teardown
  • Ranked list of what is blocking you
Week 2

Claim and clean

The profile is claimed, verified and completed properly. Duplicates get merged, closed addresses get closed, and the categories change to the ones your customers actually use.

  • Verification and ownership
  • Categories, services, attributes
  • Duplicate and ghost listings removed
  • Hours, holidays and service areas
Weeks 3–4

Build and publish

Photos, products and posts go up, the review request routine goes live with cards your staff can hand over, and the first location pages are published on the site.

  • Photo and product upload
  • Review request flow and templates
  • Location and service pages
  • Directions, parking and access notes
Month 2 onward

Measure and adjust

Reporting starts: profile views, the searches that surfaced you, map clicks, direction requests and calls, plus a short written note each month on what changed.

  • Monthly figures and commentary
  • Review monitoring and replies
  • Listing re-checks each quarter
  • Next actions agreed in writing
Expectations
Why local search takes weeks, not days

Profile edits are reviewed before they show. Directory data propagates on its own schedule. Reviews arrive at the speed your customers do. None of that can be bought forward, so we set the timeline before the work starts.

Weeks 1–2

Edits go in and wait for review. Nothing visible moves yet, and that is normal.

Weeks 3–6

Listings propagate, the profile starts surfacing for more searches, first calls appear.

Months 2–3

Reviews accumulate, location pages get indexed, direction requests become the number that grows.
